Leigh Leibel

Leigh Leibel (she/her) is a mind-body specialist in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City, USA. New York where she designs mind-body protocols for cancer patients and families to mitigate adverse physical and psychological side effects of treatment and improve clinical outcomes.

She completed a summer fellowship in Cancer Prevention and Control at the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute and is a founding member of the Center for Global Health Equity and Empowerment.

She holds a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy with Honors from S-Vyasa University in Bengaluru, India where she is pursing the PhD Yoga. She is editor of the forthcoming (June 2022) textbook Yoga Therapy Across the Cancer Care Continuum and contributing author to The Foundation, Tools, and Practice of Yoga Therapy: A Comprehensive Textbook.
