Their new, state-of-the-art UK research and development laboratories and Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing facilities were commissioned in 2020. Appointed in 2019, their Chief Scientific Officer has published over 50 peer-reviewed publications in the field of pharmaceutical nanotechnology. He has an excellent research profile, focusing on the development of nano-medicines for optimal therapeutic outcome.

In recognition of the skills and innovation potential of the lipolife team, last year they were awarded a prestigious KTP grant by Innovate UK; this highly contested grant is only presented to those companies who have extraordinary potential for innovation in their field. Through partnering with Anglia Ruskin University, the funding will enable the joint team to develop the most cutting-edge, technologically advanced improvements to liposomal encapsulation.
